RIP Barack the Crab

I was feeding Kennedy pumped boob milk about 2 a.m. on Saturday morning and heard lots of noise in the kitchen coming from the hermit crab cage. When we got up saturday morning and I looked in the cage I found Barack in pieces. It remains a mystery whether it was a crab suicide or if Sarah tore him apart. We are going to have to make a trip to Petsmart to acquire a new friend or two for Sarah. I'm thinking Cindy McCain the crab sounds like a good name.

Crab Legs Anyone?


Kennedy is really coming into her personality and sleeping much better/longer at nights. She is gaining more and more neck control by the day and smiling mostly at Brooke and cooing lots. She loves her swing. She is even trying to hog the remote as of late. As long as she is a fan of Spongebob we won't have any issues.

We had a busy weekend of visiting with Beth and Daniel on Friday night and then lupper with Jessie and Eric, and then dessert and a round of trading babies with Andrew, Kelli, and Aaron. I got an awesome ransom picture of Andrew in the buff but it is 5MB so I am going to reserve it for embarrasing him later when he can actually appreciate it. Today consisted of lots of football and me off to 2 0-2 starts and Brooke teaching baby girl to cheer for her against Grandma Cindy.
